This notice explains how the Disaster Response Management System (DRMS) collects, uses, and protects personal information in compliance with the Republic Act No. 10173 — Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

Collected data are used solely for emergency response, rescue dispatching, and coordination with official LGU responders (PNP, BFP, Ambulance, MDRRMO). No information is shared for marketing or non-government use.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Submitted reports are stored securely in the DRMS database hosted by the LGU or its authorized provider. Data are retained only for the duration necessary to respond to the incident and for post-disaster validation. Old or resolved reports may be anonymized or deleted.

4. Data Sharing

Information may be shared only with authorized agencies (PNP, BFP, MDRRMO, DOH, DILG) when required to perform their official duties. All personnel handling personal data are bound by confidentiality agreements.

The DRMS implements encryption, secure sessions, and restricted access. Uploaded files are automatically purged after resolution to prevent misuse.
